I played the game of life by the book. Ya know . . . go to college for 4 years, get the degree, and finally land that career animator position upon the 5th year after grinding my portfolio while applying for gigs.
I found myself at the desk of my AAA game industry position animating characters and I asked “Are these the type of experiences I want help create?” I felt like the climate of the gaming industry needed some change and that it was missing something. I thought the industry could use more of":

It was here when the Transformation happened
I then attended a meeting on my birthday and was laid off along with dozens of other people. At this very moment, I was not sad or upset. It was only acceptance. That voice that had been blazing inside of me about the gaming industry said, “this is it.”. This was my chance to stop playing the game of life by society’s book and play to my own playstyle.
With only $200 to my name, I took the leap of faith, and began creating an experience about “Transformation”. Years later I am on the path of completing this creation after taking the prototype to gaming conventions around the world such as PAX, GDC, and more. I believe now is the right time for me to extend this offer to you to join in on this transformational experience.
