Categories

1) Fan art skin for Seph - create an alternate skin for Seph. The winning entry will become an alternate in-game skin featured in Cede.  

2) Fan art skin for a Lil Boi - create an alternate skin for one of the Lil Boi's  (Lil Bush, Flow, or Ray). The winning entry will become an alternate in-game skin featured in Cede. 

3) Combat Farming Enemy and Plant - create your own unique enemy and the combat farming plant it transforms into. The winning entry will be featured as one the exclusive Kickstarter enemy-combat farming plants in-game. 

4) Finger Painting on Alternate Skin for Seph - create a finger painting to go on part of Seph's torso featured as an in-game alternate skin. The finger painting will be added in addition to the rest of the paintings on the alternate skin. 

 

Rules

  • Family friendly submissions only
  • Your art cannot infringe on upon copyrighted materials from other IPs because it will be featured in-game.  
  • Category 4 must be painted on physical paper not digitally. 

Technical Requirements

  • For Categories 1, 2, and 3, submissions must be in JPG format and must be at least 1920x1080 pixels or larger. 
  • Category 4 must be scanned or you can take a picture (as long as the design is clear and visible)
  • One entry per category. You're more than welcome to submit to multiple categories! 
  • Categories 1, 2, and 3, we will accept art from different medias including (2D art, 3D art, traditional, sculptures, cosplay) 

Submissions

Send submissions to contact@barehand.co with your full name, subject line "Cede Fan Art Contest",category(s) you are submitting to, along with any links you would like us to share (i.e - instagram, twitter, artstation). You can also send submissions through Facebook by sending a message to our BareHand page. 

Winner Annoucements

Round 1 -Our team will pick 4 finalist from each category for a total of 16 finalists.

  • November 18th - 4 finalists from each category will be selected.
  • November 25th -  4 finalists from each category will be selected.
  • December 2nd - 4 finalists from each category will be selected.
  • December 9th - 4 finalists from each category will be selected.

Round 2 (final round) - Finalists will be voted per category by Cede's Kickstarter backers. 

Deadlines

  • 1st week: November 17th @ 11:59 PM PST
  • 2nd week: November 24th @ 11:59 PM PST
  • 3rd week: December 1st @ 11:59 PM PST
  • 4th week(final week): : December 8th @ 11:59 PM PST
